Six formats that actually work

The best holiday parties have one activity people can opt into. Pick one and build the night around it.

  • Cookie decorating stations — works for families and for office parties.
  • Ugly sweater bash with a judged contest and a trophy.
  • Murder mystery night — best for teams of 15 to 40.
  • White elephant with a hard 20-dollar cap and a numbered draw.
  • Hot cocoa and dessert bar, no dinner, two hours, done.
  • Awards night — short program, dinner, dance floor after.

Book in September or October

Every December Saturday in downtown Wenatchee is claimed by mid-fall. Companies that reserve in September get their pick; everyone else takes a Thursday.

If you are flexible, early December weeknights are the best value of the season.

Keep the program short

Twenty minutes of speeches, maximum. Feed people first, say the thank-yous while everyone is still seated, then get out of the way.

DIY or fully handled

You can bring your own catering and decor, or hand the whole night to our in-house planner with full event coordination for $500. The photo booth add-on is $150 and is the most-used thing at every holiday party we host.
